Jaya Parvati Vrat 2025: Jaya Parvati Vrat holds a great religious significance among Hindus. Another name for this is Gauri Vrat. Devotees worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati while fasting for five days. In the month of Ashadha, Jaya Parvati Vrat will start on Trayodashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha. The fast will start from today i.e., on July 8, 2025, and conclude on July 13, 2025, Tritiya Tithi of Krishna Paksha, which falls in the month of Shravana.
Gauri Vrat is significant fasting period dedicated to Goddess Parvati. This Gauri Vrat is mainly observed in Gujarat. The fasting of Gauri Puja is mainly observed by unmarried girls to seek good husband.
Gauri Vrat is observed for 5 days in the month of Ashadha. It begins on the Shukla Paksha Ekadashi and ends after five days on Purnima day, the day of Guru Purnima. Gauri Vrat is also known as Morakat Vrat (મોળાકત વ્રત)
